Does it really print without ink or toner?
Yes. LumiFlick uses direct thermal technology. The print head applies heat to compatible thermal paper, so there are no ink cartridges, toner or ribbons to replace.
What paper does it use?
Use compatible direct thermal paper in A4, A5 or US Letter size. Ordinary inkjet or laser paper will not work because thermal paper contains the heat-sensitive coating used to create the print.
Which devices can I print from?
Supported iPhone and Android devices connect through the HerePrint app using Bluetooth. Windows and Mac computers connect by USB using the software instructions in the included manual.
Do I need Wi-Fi?
No Wi-Fi connection is required to send a print job through the supported Bluetooth or USB connection. Internet access may still be needed when downloading the app or computer software.
Does it print in colour?
No. LumiFlick produces crisp monochrome thermal prints. It is designed for documents, forms, notes, webpages and reference images rather than colour photo printing.
Does the printer include a warranty?
Yes. The LumiFlick Inkless Portable Printer includes a 2-year warranty. If you experience a fault, contact us with your order number and details of the issue so our team can assist.
